Dachser Czech Republic: Electromobility in freight transport
The project of the logistics company Dachser Czech Republic deals with the locally emission-free distribution in the centers of Prague and Hradec Králové. As of February 2021, it was the first logistics provider in the Czech Republic to start distribution of pallet shipments by e-cargobike. As part of the project, Dachser uses electric cargo bikes and an electric delivery vehicle, achieving a reduction in the carbon footprint in the center of both cities while maintaining maximum delivery reliability. The project will very soon be linked to the locally emission-free regular collection service line on the company’s busiest route, between the Hradec Králové and Kladno branches.
