Stanislav Mišák, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava

Prof. Stanislav Mišák is the director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Technologies (CEET), a recognized university institute at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava focused on research and development in the field of low-carbon and sustainable energy, in accordance with the principles of the circular economy. He has dedicated his professional life to researching and developing low-carbon technologies to ensure raw material independence and energy self-sufficiency for the Czech Republic. He is the leader of the National Energy Center, which brings together more than 30 research organizations and industrial partners in the field of modern energy. He is the principal investigator of numerous research and strategic projects at both the national and international levels and actively participates in consortia addressing current topics such as energy decarbonization. His motto is: “The only thing that limits us is our unlimited imagination.”
