I am very happy for the Sustainability Summit, because people from different areas meet here – from business, the non-profit sector, and public administration. Not only to discuss with each other, but to inspire each other and know what who is doing and how. At the same time, there is no copying involved. But when something works for someone, it’s good to be inspired by it and to use it in your own business. That is happening here, and it’s good, because mutual interaction and cooperation can move the whole business forward.

Congratulations on a very interesting and prestigious edition and thank you for the invitation to the panel, which I greatly appreciate. I personally see events of this type with the topic of sustainability as very necessary and I am very happy that the event had a positive response. I look forward to seeing you again next year.

What I like about this year’s summit is that it really has a lot to offer. There is opportunity for networking and plenty of partners. Everyone can find their favorite workshop that interests them, opportunities to make new contacts, and the chance to learn something new. But what we can be happy about is the fact that sustainability is really starting to interest a lot of people. I think that the workshops will be interesting not only for me, but also for everyone else. I like the variety of topics that are discussed during them.

This year, I came to the summit with high expectations, and the event has fulfilled them all. I hoped to learn news and inspiring information, to hear people from the field that I don’t normally meet, including people from the scientific field, speak, which I perceived as a pleasant addition of facts and arguments. I wanted to meet people who deal with the issue of sustainability on a corporate and scientific level. All this was filled to the maximum. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Everyone is on the same wavelength and have a lot to share. It’s a wonderful event for me.

I came here for sustainability, because our company cares about sustainability and renewable resources. The expectations were that we wanted to meet business partners who have a similar mindset to us, who follow the greenway path, think about how to save energy, how to help the planet survive. So far, I am very satisfied here. We have met many future business partners here who have ecological solutions for our company, and I hope it will help us in our business.

It’s great how the posters reflect real practice, how sustainability can be applied already in operation, despite the fact that even on the posters it can be seen that it is often difficult for companies and that this support, which is necessary for sustainability, is so far from large companies, which is of course understandable, but at the same time it can be seen that small and medium-sized enterprises are also trying to accommodate it as much as possible. So, probably the extent to which they devote themselves to just the small projects is the biggest aha moment for me today.

I think that Slovakia and the Czech Republic are not mentally prepared to understand the word sustainability sufficiently. I was wondering who the leader is today, what is it bringing, how can we connect and help each other for a better tomorrow. So that we all think about the future of our children. What interested me the most is that departments are actually being created in companies today, various ecologists, environmentalists, sustainable departments, and today I had the feeling that there are really people who care about it, who want to move it forward.

For me, the conference is a great event, as both the professional public and the academic sphere are represented here. This combination, where even industrial development can be presented here, creates a great environment for moving things forward. I look forward to the discussions with academics that will follow, and what news I will learn in the field of sustainability.

I am here for inspiration, for the case studies of interesting projects, for obtaining new information, for the opportunity to learn from the experience of others, and in general to be inspired, what and how to do in the future, to jointly develop the topic of sustainability and move the society in which we live to another level. The project examples were very interesting.

Because we are a company that operates a recycling line, we got to join this summit, entered the competition, and were selected with our project. We were pleasantly surprised by this, and considering the size of the summit and its idea, we thought it was very good. We expect to meet a lot of interesting partners and people here who will help us in our project and in B2B cooperation.
